TESH Project Successfully Completed Under HUNOR Program

We have successfully completed the TESH project of the HUNOR program, which was carried out in cooperation with our department, the Department of Aviation and Space Medicine at Semmelweis University, the DLR – German Aerospace Center, and the European Knowledge Center. The comprehensive series of experiments examined the effects of space travel on the human organ system during the early adaptation period. The experiments conducted by the research group of our department were executed on the International Space Station and on Earth, focusing on the effects of microgravity on human movement and fine motor control. At the final debriefent, research astronaut Tibor Kapu and reserve astronaut Gyula Cserényi shared their experiences, while we presented the evaluated scientific results and jointly drew conclusions from the mission.
